PERSONAL UGC
As the content strategy landscape evolves, the ever going importance of UGC and personal brands becomes even stronger. Testing the 1-inch sensor Leica glass Insta 360 camera, I explored the capabilities of tracking and re-composing video files to meet the needs of short-form content. As a creative, I enjoy capturing projects in multiple mediums to add authenticity and the human touch.

When I moved to Detroit in 2021 I was working with an independent designer and a mental health awareness brand that created positive message clothing. Olipop reached out mid-summer to celebrate their new flavor ‘Orange Cream’. We designed a custom hoodie and social content for the special occasion of course.

Hired by JBL to photograph stills alongside this 7-day production in Barcelona, and the 2-day production in Los Angeles. I had the privilege of watching a 100+ person production team create some of the most creative, captivating commercials of the year. Reaching the Gen Z market is a massive task for most long-running brands. JBL made it seamless.

On short notice, BV announced their spring season fashion show would take place in Detroit’s Michigan Theatre. Scrambling, NY based production team Matte Projects reached out to have me photograph their behind-the-scenes. In action, the BV team pulled me aside to capture sample runway photos for Vogue and the NY Times and thereafter placed me corner stage for a second POV of their show.

Being brought on to photograph Peyton Manning was an exciting opportunity, but I didn’t grow up the biggest football fan. Nonetheless, anytime my father had it on the TV Calvin Johnson took my attention away. This was a fantastic full circle and a great time learning the production side of professional sports.
